PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) 4a training exercise allows employees to act out their emergency roles using practical, real life scenarios using A-B-C / multiclass fire extinguishers common in most workplaces.
OSHA (1910.157) requires training for portable fire extinguishers when employees are delegated or allowed to use portable fire extinguishers and ERT 4b will deliver hands-on, practical experience with your on-site equipment.
COURSE AGENDA:
Education on hazard classes and selection of appropriate extinguisher type
Fight or flight assessment to determine safe use of extinguisher
Hands-on training in use of A-B-C type fire extinguisher equipment using a live exercise
COURSE FORMATS:
Hands on exercise only

Authorization from local authorities is required (advance notice, filing and fee requirements vary by locale)
